Rotary Club of Madras Mid-town (RCMM), chartered in 1972, is one among the 34,000 clubs of Rotary International. RCMM, ranked as one of the premier clubs in Rotary District 3233, has 50+ members currently, consisting of professionals and businessman from across industries. The club continues to execute many long sustaining service projects, some with longevity of 10 to 15 years, significantly impacting the lives of thousands of beneficiaries in and around Chennai. RCMM celebrated its golden jubilee (50th) year in the Rotary Year 2021-22.
Over 4 decades, RCMM continues to serve the community through: Health Care, Literacy & Education, Water & Sanitation, Integrated Rural Development, Environmental programs, Youth Development and many more initiatives. Rotary Club of Madras Midtown’s Long-Term initiatives are Cancer Care for the last 27 years (www.rotarycancercare.org), Women’s Vocational Training Centre at Choolai, Stop TB Awareness Program, Village Development (Medical Centre & KG school), Digital Literacy Program, Go-Green – planting of trees.
